Data controller

FAVREAUX EQUITATION, Société civile d'exploitation agricole (SCEA), with its registered office at Parc de Charnesseuil, 77750 Saint-Ouen-sur-Morin. Contact: contact@chateaudecharnesseuil.com.

Data collected

The only personal data collected on this website is the information you enter in the enquiry form: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, type of project, preferred date, number of guests, number of nights and the content of your message. The form also records the page from which the enquiry was sent and the language used. Simply browsing the website does not require you to enter any data; the hosting provider then processes only the technical data needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address.

Purpose

This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry, to prepare a commercial proposal suited to your project and to confirm by email that your enquiry has been received.

Legal basis

Your data is processed on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) — responding to your enquiry and sending you a proposal — and on the basis of your consent, given by ticking the box provided for that purpose (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

Recipients and processors

Your data is intended solely for the estate's management. For technical purposes, it is processed on our behalf by the following service providers:

  • Website hosting and form handling: Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA.
  • Business email, where enquiries are received: Microsoft 365, provided in the European Economic Area by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Dublin, Ireland), a Microsoft group company.
  • Sending of the acknowledgement of receipt: Brevo.

Your data is never transferred or sold to third parties.

Transfers of data outside the European Union

Some of our processors are established in the United States: Netlify, Inc., which hosts the website and receives the data entered in the form, and Microsoft Corporation, the parent company of the group providing the Microsoft 365 business email service. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to the United States.

In accordance with Article 45 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), these transfers are governed by the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission on 10 July 2023 for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795). Netlify, Inc. and Microsoft Corporation state that they participate in this framework. Microsoft further states that it relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission for its international transfers (Article 46 GDPR).

You can verify these companies' participation on the official Data Privacy Framework website, www.dataprivacyframework.gov, and obtain further information on the applicable safeguards by writing to contact@chateaudecharnesseuil.com.

Retention period

Your data is kept for three years after our last contact, then deleted.

Your rights

In accordance with Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to give instructions regarding the handling of your data after your death (Article 85 of French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978). You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to contact@chateaudecharnesseuil.com.

Complaints

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or at www.cnil.fr.
